Supporting the strong emphasis on vocabulary development in Milestones, the first section reinforces the Vocabulary From the Reading for each chapter.

Students are given a variety of practice tasks so that they master this vocabulary and learn to re-use it in new language situations.

You will also appreciate the reinforcement provided for every Reading Strategy taught in Milestones.

The Academic Vocabulary presented in conjunction with the Reading Strategy is also reinforced and practiced in the Workbook.

Students apply the newly learned strategy to a new reading passage.
