Each level of World Link has a corresponding video program of 12 units. For each unit, the video features two segments, City Living and Global Viewpoints.

City Living is a dramatic series in an entertaining situation-comedy style. It focuses on the lives of six young people from countries around the world living and working together in New York City. The episodes of City Living reinforce and expand on the grammar and vocabulary presented in the corresponding unit of the World Link Student Book.

The second segment, Global Viewpoints, is made up of a series of short, real-life interviews of students and professional people from a wide range of countries. These speakers give their personal views on topics related to the theme of the unit.

For all of the segments of the video, teachers can choose to use the optional subtitles in English that are available on both the DVD and VHS versions.
