Now consider how you want to start the lesson. One possibility is reviewing the previous lesson. You can also start by checking students' homework together, or you might want to introduce the new topic right away.

Next, plan the middle of the lesson. The activities in World Link follow a natural sequence, but you should consider which activities are likely to be difficult for your students, and how you can give them more practice.

Finally, think about the end of the lesson. Make a note of activities you can skip if a class is running short on time, and activities you can add, if they finish early.

Try to end by reviewing what the students have learned in the lesson, to consolidate new language and to give them a feeling that they are making progress. Be sure to keep your lesson plans, to refer to the next time you teach the same material.
