Listen to Audio

An important part of these speaking activities is for students to speak as naturally as possible. Students should never just read off the page, but should always look at the person they're speaking to. Train your students to read, look up, and speak. Tell them they can look back at the page as often as they need to if they forget a word, but they should always look up again while speaking. This technique will help them retain the new language. Demonstrate it for them, and watch and remind them until it becomes automatic.
