Throughout the World Link Online Teacher Training Course, this left hand column will contain an audio explanation of the World Link features and instructional guides described on that page. The audio will start playing automatically when you first view the web page, however you can pause and replay the audio by using the controls on the audio player. Below the audio player is a lightly shaded box with a matching transcription of the audio.

 

The audio example on this page will not automatically start, however you can play and pause the audio by clicking the Play button, which will then become the pause button.

 


Listen to Audio

World Link is a complete four-level course that takes English language learners from low-beginning to high intermediate levels. Students build their ability to communicate fluently and confidently, by mastering essential structures and building a dynamic vocabulary.

 

Playing the audio requires one of the following media players. If you cannot play the audio example above, then click on one of the following links and install a media player.

 

 

 

The audio can be replayed by using the mouse to click-and-drag the audio player button that is moving as the audio is playing. In QuickTime:

In Windows Media Player:

 

The audio volume can be adjusted using the audio player volume control. In QuickTime, click the mouse over the speaker icon and hold the mouse button down:

then move the mouse over the pop up volume control bar, and move the volume button up or down.

 

To control the audio volume in Windows Media Player, first make sure that the speaker is turned on. Look at the speaker icon, and if it does not have lines coming out of the speaker, then click this button.

Then, click-and-drag the volume control bar.

 

You can control the audio in this same way, when the audio automatically starts playing, on all of the other pages.
