Directions by car
from Massachusetts
From North:
I-93 S. to High and
Congress St., exit 23. At end of the ramp, make your first
left onto High St. Go left at second light onto Congress
St. Go two blocks, cross the bridge, Cengage Learning Place will
be past the Children's Museum on your left.
From South:
I-93 to Downtown/Mass
Pike/Chinatown exit. Bear left towards downtown Boston.
At the end of the ramp, turn left onto Kneeland St. Go
one block, then take a right onto Surface St. Go through
several lights past the Federal Reserve building and then
take a right onto Congress St. Cross the bridge, Cengage Learning
Place will be past the Children's Museum on your left.
From West:
I-90 (Mass Pike) East
to end, take Downtown Boston/South Station exit. At the
end of the ramp, go straight onto Surface St. Go several
lights and past the Federal Reserve building, make a right
onto Congress St. Cross the bridge, Cengage Learning Place will
be past the Children's Museum on your left.

public transportation
By Train and "T"
The
closest "T" stop and Commuter Rail station
is South Station on the Red Line. You can take the Red
Line,
commuter rail, Amtrak or bus to South Station. You'll
come out next to the Federal Reserve building. Walk around
to
the other side of the Federal Reserve by walking one
block on Summer St., to the water, and then left on Dorchester
Avenue, along the water. That will bring you to Congress
St., where you'll take a right and walk across the bridge.
You will then see the Children's Museum ahead on your
left.
Continue straight another block, Cengage Learning Place is on
your left. It's about a four-block walk.
Walking directions from other stop options
From State St. (Orange line and Blue line):
Use the Devonshire St. exit from the T. Go east on Devonshire
1 block. Left on Water St. to Congress St. Turn right
on Congress St. and continue for several blocks. Walk
over the Congress St. bridge, you'll see the Children's
Museum ahead on your left. Continue straight another
block, Cengage Learning Place will be on your left.
From North Station (Orange and Green line and Commuter rail)
Across Causeway St. and
down Canal St. or Portland St. (2 blocks). You will be
facing New Chardon St. and the Government Center Garage.
Right to intersection of New Chardon St. and Congress
St. and take Congress St. under garage. Continue for
7 blocks or so. Walk over the Congress St. bridge and
you'll see the Children's Museum ahead on your left,
continue straight, Cengage Learning Place will be on your left.
By Bus: From Downtown Crossing and South Station
The Number 7 bus will stop in the
Downtown Crossing area at Summer and Otis St. and South
Station. The bus will indicate that the destination is
the Courthouse. From South Station the Number 7 bus will
travel directly to the Federal Courthouse, which is 2
Blocks from Cengage Learning Place.
Express buses from North Shore
Express
buses run from the North Shore to the Fan Pier area. The
Numbers 448, 449 and 459 travel from Marblehead, Salem
and Revere and stop at Sleeper and Congress St. (the Children's
Museum stop). Walk down Congress St., Cengage Learning Place will
be on your left.

Street parking and several parking lots are available near Cengage Learning Place. Please consider public transportation if you can. This is an exciting part of town, with a lot of development and construction taking place, which also makes parking more challenging on days when other businesses are open.
The closest parking lot is located just
behind Cengage Learning Place, on West Service Road. The cost is
$8 during a weekday.
The Farnsworth Street Garage offers indoor parking. The Garage is located two blocks behind the museum. Go past the Museum two blocks to make a left onto Farnsworth Street. The Garage is on your right.
