In this module, Innovations author, Hugh
Dellar presents possible ways of introducing, conducting and further developing
speaking activities in class. He explains how to introduce an activity, model
it successfully, elicit answers effectively - correcting pronunciation and stress
and how to use the board to round-up.
Hugh demonstrates how Innovations provides
ample opportunities for students to further develop the language acquired in
the speaking activities. Hugh presents the ‘explicit looking at language
phase’ and explains how this works in practice.
