In this module, Innovations author, Hugh Dellar presents possible ways of introducing, conducting and further developing speaking activities in class. He explains how to introduce an activity, model it successfully, elicit answers effectively - correcting pronunciation and stress and how to use the board to round-up.

 

Hugh focuses on how Innovations sets up speaking activities and offers students a wealth of opportunities to speak. He demonstrates how to monitor and correct errors effectively using the board. Hugh emphasises the need for further work once the speaking activity is complete.
