In this module, Innovations author, Andrew
Walkley discusses different approaches to teaching reading activities and
using texts in class. He explains how Innovations introduces the reading
activities and then consolidates the language and structures learnt after the
reading has finished.
Andrew focuses on setting up reading activities by introducing
the topic and creating a context, generating class discussion, personalising
the language learning experience and using the board to pre-teach vocabulary.
