In the Using Listening texts module, Michelle
Maxom, Director of Studies and teacher at Avalon School of English in London,
presents various ways of introducing, conducting and further developing listening
activities in class. She also explains some common problems students encounter
with listening activities and how Innovations tackles these.
In this module Michelle demonstrates how Innovations
supports students with a before-you-listen task, a guided-listening activity
and a post-listening discussion or vocabulary focus activity. Michelle demonstrates
how to use the board with listening activities and drill pronunciation effectively.
